What do you need to race F5D?

Charger.

The market is full of beautiful chargers. I am using a £600 beast that does everything apart from fly the model which is one extreme. I use this because I am a sucker for buttons and graphs. Mark uses a small charger that cost less than £50. He did have the same charger as me but found it to fussy and he cannot be bothered with all the buttons. What you do need is the capability of charging up to 20 cells at 5 amps with some sort of read out so you know were you are in the charging cycle. My advice on this one is buy a Schultz charger and spend as much as you feel happy spending. The base charger you can get for under £120. It will charge and discharge and has a second charge socket for charging the receiver pack at the same time. That is what I started with and it served me well until I bought a top dog Schultz. If you can afford a little more then next one has a bigger display and higher charging capabilities but at the end of the day does much the same as they all do.
