Germany Calling

New postby Rob AR » Wed Oct 07, 2009 7:03 pm

On the 24th & 25th of October is the final German F5D international. It will be quite a good event to see as these guys are the best in the world and the swiss, Russians & Austrian teams are going as well all of which are very very quick.

Not to be outdone we are going too.........

So far 5 of us are entering with 2 extra helpers going allong for the beer. Unfortunatly we now do not have any more spaces in our van however if anyone else fancies a trip you will find lots of friendly faces there to help you.

If you are interested get in touch.

Cheers

We are down to 4 entries now,

Ollie W
Darron R
Paul B
Rob AR

Mark V is coming to fix and throw and o yes anouther important job get us all there. The Germans seem to think we are only going for Beer and have got in an extra few barrels in :D they must have us confused with someone else

Unfortunatly Mr D05 and the rest of the Russians have pulled out due to not getting theor Visa's in time but it still looks like a full field of quality piolets so I am sure we will learn a lot.

I will do as many titters as possible over the weekend if I can get a signal to the IPhone if not I will upload a load once we get back to the hotel with WIFI.

Cheers

After the great time we had last year I’m heading back to Germany for a shake down with the Best of the Best on July 10th & 11th this year.

The site is just over the Belgian border so about 2 – 3 hours travelling the other side of the channel. I expect quite a high turnout although I also expect that the main boys like Austria, Swiss and top Germans won’t be flying their main set ups, keeping them under wraps for the World Champs the following month.

So far it looks like I will be going alone although I do have a definite maybe from John H.

If anyone else fancies a trip let me know as I am planning on booking a hotel soon and I am hoping to get the same one as most of the other guys there to be more sociable than last time.

Cheers
