Why not go futaba which is the most reliable & poular?
Agree that Futaba appears to be reliable and no doubting it's popularity - (I myself started with the 6EXA and moved up to a CAP9 on 35mhz before buying the spectrum).
However, I want my next radio to be the best I have ever bought as a 'keeper' and is a does everything type of radio, including telemetry.
Its a shame Futaba don't do telemetry and I have seen no plans that it's just around the corner - or does someone know differently?
I know telemetry is not F5d legal at the moment, - I have a unilog for that and far more practical becuase you just cannot glance at the screen when flying
However, I do fly loads of stuff, slope, thermal, ic, edf etc and it would be good to know even just rx metrics for peace of mind.
Weatronics are FHSS like Futaba and I am impressed with their attitude to full resilience, i.e. dual tx and rx aerials and circuitry.
Also I like features like the telemetry for signal strength is audible through an earpeace and all data is saved on a micro SD card that slots into the module. - neat solutions.
Plus its very popular in jet circles and probably for a good reason.
